Who We Are

J.13 is a regional youth collective based right here at First Baptist Church of Portland.

We gather students from around the Portland-Metro area and beyond to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other. We do this through Sunday youth gatherings, monthly events, camps, collabs with other inner-city churches, and more.

The Inspiration for J.13

In the Gospel of John, chapter 13, Jesus washes his disciples' feet. Jesus, God incarnate, gave himself to service, leadership, and community in an exceptional way. We want that same value for loving others to be present in our church and in our youth.

This is why our group is named J.13.

Our Students also participate in annual summer and winter programming at Camp Arrah Wanna in Welches, Oregon.
